The name TEBA (תֵּבָה, tebah) comes from the Hebrew word
used in the Bible for Noah’s ark
and the basket that carried the infant Moses.

TEBA(תֵּבָה, tebah)라는 이름은 성경에서
노아의 방주와 어린 모세를 담았던 갈대상자에
사용된 히브리어에서 왔습니다.

We hope that students who grow within TEBA
will one day become leaders like Moses—
serving and building up others,
and leading their communities under God’s guidance.

TEBA 안에서 배우고 성장한 학생들이
훗날 모세와 같이 다른 사람을 섬기고 세우며,
하나님의 인도하심을 따라 공동체를 이끄는
리더로 성장하기를 소망합니다.

At TEBA, leadership begins with followership—
learning, taking responsibility, and serving
before leading others.

TEBA는 리더십의 시작을 팔로워십에서 찾습니다.
먼저 배우고 · 책임지고 · 섬기며 성장한 뒤,
다른 사람을 책임 있게 이끄는 법을 배워 갑니다.

Our Story

TEBA가 시작된 이야기

From Music Lessons to a
Connected Student Growth System
음악 레슨에서 하나로 연결된 학생 성장 시스템으로

TEBA began in the summer of 2022.
Our first application was received on July 20,
and on August 7, we welcomed three students
for our first drum and acoustic guitar lessons.

TEBA는 2022년 여름에 시작되었습니다.
7월 20일 첫 신청서를 받은 뒤,
8월 7일 세 명의 학생과 함께
첫 드럼과 통기타 레슨을 시작했습니다.

What began as a small program
to help students learn music and serve
on church worship teams gradually expanded
into music, media, and academic tutoring
across a range of subjects, including AP courses.

학생들이 악기를 배우고 교회 찬양팀에서
섬길 수 있도록 시작한 작은 프로그램은
점차 음악과 미디어뿐 아니라,
AP 과목을 포함한 다양한 학업 튜터링으로
확대되었습니다.

However, as more students joined,
we realized that subject tutoring alone
was not enough.

하지만 학생들이 늘어나면서
과목 수업만으로는 충분하지 않다는 것을
알게 되었습니다.

TEBA began supporting students
with assignments, test preparation,
time management, learning habits, and school life.

TEBA는 과제 · 시험 준비 · 시간 관리 ·
학습 습관 · 학교생활까지
함께 살피기 시작했습니다.

Over time, this support expanded into
course planning, career and major exploration,
leadership, and college preparation.

이후 지원의 범위는 과목 계획 ·
진로와 전공 탐색 · 리더십 · 대학 준비까지
점차 확대되었습니다.

Along the way, students developed
stronger learning habits, re-engaged with school,
and began moving toward their goals.

그 과정에서 학생들의 학습 태도가 달라지고,
학교생활에 다시 참여하며
자신의 목표를 향해 나아가는 변화가 이어졌습니다.

As these stories of growth and change spread,
more families began seeking support from TEBA.

이러한 성장과 변화의 이야기가 알려지면서
TEBA를 찾는 가정도 점차 늘어났습니다.

With growing demand,
some students faced longer wait times,
and TEBA began offering online classes
with university student educators.

수요가 늘어나며
일부 학생들의 대기 기간이 길어지자,
TEBA는 대학생 교육자들이 참여하는
온라인 수업도 시작했습니다.

TEBA has now brought these years of experience together
in CRESCENTIA, a connected system designed to support
each student’s continued growth.

TEBA는 이제 그동안 학생들과 함께하며
쌓아 온 경험을 CRESCENTIA라는
연결된 학생 성장 시스템으로 발전시키고 있습니다.

CRESCENTIA helps each student identify what comes next
and connects one stage of growth naturally
to the next.

CRESCENTIA는 학생마다 필요한 다음 단계를 찾고,
한 단계의 성장이 다음 성장으로
자연스럽게 이어지도록 돕습니다.

This is the path TEBA has taken—

Bilingual communication, consultation,
and parent education help parents better understand
their child’s needs and take an active role

TEBA’s goal is not to keep students dependent on support.
We help them build the habits, responsibility, and confidence
to gradually manage more on their own.
